I HAVE HOPE IN HEAVEN.
My hope is not in this world, but
in the world to come.
Therefore, any circumstance I may face
in this life is a mere shadow
which pales
in comparison to the hope of my future.
In Heaven,
I will no longer rebel against
the God I love.
And although I do rebel now,
which should pit me against
Christ (who was Pierced for me),
I am found to be perfect in His grace.
I stand as if righteous before God Almighty
Who created wonders of stars billions of miles away
and also the hands that form these letters.
God touched these hands!
It is He who defines me, He who clothes me, He who loves me.
In Christ’s radical grace I hope for the eternal joy of my future.
